What's the role?
As an IT Business Analyst, you act as the bridge between Business counterparts and Global IT. You will be providing professional advice on incidents and are responsible for transferring business requirements into implementations for solutions. You will contribute to build digital solutions in our application landscape, which combines mobile applications, cloud-based solutions and a backend based on our ERP solutions.
The IT Business Analyst role allows you to own a specific topic of our unique solution stacks, its professional operation, and the transfer of customer needs into new product features. You will transfer new business requirements into value adding and sustainable solutions. You will get to collaborate with the product manager and product owner to define requirements as well as partner with technical staff to develop convincing solution alternatives.

What does the role involve?
As the IT Business Analyst – SAP PS you will shape the future processes and IT solutions to improve step by step the areas of finance and project management within Large Projects. In line with our IT and Business project teams you will define, deliver, and run solutions contributing to our vision. This innovative position requires business understanding, IT know-how, project & portfolio management skills as well as strong competences to implement and operate these solutions. One of the most dynamic and diverse IT challenges is waiting for you. This position will be responsible for leading and supporting new business solutions based on latest technologies, e.g. SAP S/4 HANA.
Key responsibilities:
- Master communication and work with all stakeholders in your Large Projects area across all hierarchy levels
- Contribute to the portfolio of all finance and project management related projects/initiatives in Large Projects at Hilti
- Contribute to the development of technical solutions, sustainable processes, and standards in this area
- Drive standardization, centralization, and contribute to digitalization initiatives
- Build-up sustainable support structures to operate the created solutions and processes (incl. documentation)
- Actively work with 3rd party vendor(s), local suppliers, and providers in your area
- Strongly collaborate with other Large project areas

What you need is:
- Bachelors or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Systems, Computer Science, or in a related field (PhD is a plus)
- First relevant work experience in IT (SAP)
- Experience in Finance and/or Project Management processes and system solutions is a plus
- Willingness to work closely with business counterparts and good stakeholder management & communication skills
- Entrepreneurial attitude – taking responsibility in understanding topics, owning them, and delivering success
- Skills or willingness to work in a flexible and diverse environment
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
