What's the Role?
We are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer responsible for planning, building, and evolving our global Privileged Access Management (PAM) environment for more than 30k users at Hilti. You will closely collaborate with other cross-functional teams of IT Engineers, Product Owners, Application Owners, IT Governance and Enterprise Architects to ensure secure access to Hilti’s digital services with a consistent user experience.

What does the role involve?
In this role, you are responsible for engineering and (3 rd level) operating our Privileged Access Management (PAM) environment according to industry standards and best practices. Together with our internal teams & vendors, you drive and implement service enhancements and security controls. You monitor and respond to security threats and conduct regular security reviews with external experts where needed. You keep track of the technology landscape, identify, and prioritize enhancements based on their relevance for Hilti. You follow up on incidents and implement lessons learned, identifying the root cause, and taking necessary actions to improve our processes.

What you need is
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline
- Minimum 2 year of experience in Information Security or related field
- Experience in Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions such as CyberArk and BeyondTrust. Certifications are an added advantage
- General understanding of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) areas, including authentication, authorization, and identity governance
- Structured with strong analytical skills and an affinity for IT Security
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and team skills in an international environment
- Fluent in English (verbally and written)
