What's the role?
The purpose of the Lead Engineer is to deliver productivity, safety, and sustainability through Integrated Project Solution Services (IPS) on Large Projects.
The Lead Engineer is responsible for supervising the assigned engineering (design optimization and prefabrication) and 3D modelling (BiM / Plant Design) scope of Hilti modular supports, integrated floor systems, and Firestop as well as Oglaend systems to ensure the technical objectives are met within the approved goals, budget, and schedule.

What does the role involve?
The Lead Engineer coordinates and cooperates with international teams of Design Engineers, Lead Modelers, and Drafters and is responsible for performing technical reviews and quality control of their deliverables, such as technical reports, 3D models, and outputs.
The Lead Engineer can perform designs of high complexity based on international, trade and local requirements, as well as working on digital projects complying with BIM/Plant Design protocols.
As a Lead Engineer, you will be part of the Project Management Office (PMO) and direct your efforts towards implementing the Hilti strategy by providing highly differentiated solutions to Focus Accounts working on large projects. You will join a global community of highly motivated and passionate professionals, working with leading international players, such as owners, EPCs, and specifiers.

What you need is:
- Civil or Mechanical Engineering Master’s Degree
- Min. 5-year experience in Structural and Seismic design or Mechanical Design or 2-year experience of Hilti modular support systems design
- Full domain on MS software (Excel, Word, Power Point)
- Basics Finite Element Analysis design skills (e.g. Hilti proprietary software PROFIS MSE, SAP2000, RSTAB, Ansys)
- Basics Autodesk software skills (AutoCAD, Revit is a plus). Inventor is a plus General 3D Modelling, Plant Design and BIM knowhow (Navisworks, Revit SP3D, E3D) (is as plus)
- Fluent in English, all other languages are a plus
