What's the role?

The purpose of the role is to create value in the allocated account's portfolio through effective design and implementation of individual account strategies to build long term, sustainable and profitable relationships with the customer. The role involves professional field sales and high-level customer consultation in the defined territory within the target industry. The job holder needs to provide efficient solutions and technical support to customers and represent the Hilti brand in the marketplace.

With this in mind, we are currently inviting applications for an Account Manager position based in Istanbul in the Shipbuilding sector.

What does the role involve?

As a Account Manager, you’ll be visiting our customers, wherever they’re busy working, to find out how we can help them. 

Ours is a model of professional, consultative selling and it’s a really hands-on job 100% on the field. It means rolling up your sleeves to demonstrate some of the most pioneering products in the industry, while selling our state-of-the-art software along with all the services and aftercare that come with the Hilti name.

You will also be promoting all Hilti relevant solutions by providing commercial/technical support at the dedicated shipyards.

What you need is:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Naval & Architecture Engineering is preferable
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales or shipyard
  • Background in technical sales is an advantage
  • Salesforce experience is a plus
  • Quick learner and team player
  • Excellent communication & problem-solving skills
  • Good level in English
  • Ability to thrive both independently and in a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to develop engaged customer relationships
  • To be persuasive, sales driven, customer focused, and a team player
  • Ability to learn quickly, willing to develop self
  • Experienced driver
