What's the role?

With your previous experience in development and certification for battery systems, you will directly influence the development of our battery systems, i.e. battery devices, batteries and chargers.

What does the role involve?

Increasing requirements in the development of battery systems require independent and timely certification of the projects assigned to you. You develop technical strategies and coordinate them with our development engineers. With your knowledge of certification requirements and legal/standard specifications, you advise the development teams in the definition of products and in the determination of test programs. You will also support the creation of norms and standards for battery systems with your technical expertise. You will coordinate the certification activities for new developments or changes to products in coordination with Marketing and Development. Close cooperation with international Hilti sites, suppliers, development partners and international testing and certification institutes is an essential part of your job.

We employ over 800 of the world's best engineers, who develop and test tomorrow's technical solutions in our innovation centers in Liechtenstein and in Kaufering.

What you need is:

  • Several years of experience with certification, product, and application requirements of battery systems
  • Very good knowledge of English
  • Completed studies in electrical engineering or related fields
  • Experience in dealing with external partners (e.g. authorities or test institutes) and strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Independent way of acting, analytical skills as well as entrepreneurial thinking and acting
  • Ideally first project and development experience of electronic systems
