WHAT'S THE ROLE?

The International Business Developer (IBD), Global Account Manager, is an integral part of Hilti Global International Business Developer community and the role involved both technical and leadership aspects. Focusing on Hilti Korea engineering and construction accounts (EPCs) that involved in international Oil & Gas projects, the IBD will formulate the strategy and lead its execution to increase sales from global accounts based on commercial relationship and technical specifications and collaborate closely with other global IBD community at Hilti.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?

  • Develop and execute account development strategies to increase share of wallet and attractive return on sales for our target international oil & gas projects.
  • Act as the primary contact and negotiator for designated key accounts and coordinating the necessary Hilti resources, both domestically and globally, required to support the key projects of the assigned customers.
  • Contribute and accountable for sales development (direct or indirect), long term relationship build-up and execution of account strategy on tailored commercial and technical solutions, engineering specifications and standards.
  • Develop project penetration strategies and action plans based on analyzing and prioritizing opportunities, determining the required resources and understand the decision making and internal influencing dynamics to secure specifications for targeted projects and /or company standards ensuring Hilti’s innovation is the desired solutions for key applications.
  • Work with operational teams and management in target accounts including designers, engineers, project team members, purchasing department, lead engineers, discipline managers, turnaround teams across multiple disciplines (civil, structural, electrical, instrumentation, piping and procurement).
  • Keep abreast of the latest economic trend and market landscape and take appropriate actions accordingly as well as explore industry and application expertise that benefit targeted customer’s projects and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain appropriate contacts at all relevant levels to understand and secure the fulfillment of customer requirements.

WHAT YOU NEED IS:

  • Degree or above in civil, mechanical, manufacturing, electrical engineering or related discipline.
  • At least 7 years of working experience in sales / business development for specified engineering products / solutions in construction or energy industry and preferably with marketing exposure.
  • Strong business acumen and customer orientation and capable in analyzing information and translate into strategic direction and executable actions.
