What's the role?

Design of electrical power tools, modules and components based on agreed product concepts and specifications during development, re-sourcing and product care projects.

What does the role involve?

1.Optimize te design of the tools and their components in a systematic way to fulfill Hilti standards in sense of quality and costs.

2.Report all simulation results and findings and give recommendations for improvements, further actions and design adaptions to the team.

3.Guide the design according to the analysis result.

4.Take necessary steps to ensure proper planning and management of the design steps. Review and clarify accuracy of specifications coming from the German development center.

5.Ensure a close relationship with Hilti teams, the plants and Supplier during the development process.

6.Understand FEM and Drop simulation knowledge work together supplier support local project.

7.Work with simulation expert in Europe closely, regularly discuss simulation case and share project status.

8.Support simulation topic for other projects such as incoming inspection or test failure analysis.

What you need is:

  1. University graduate (min. bachelor degree in mechanical engineering) with 3+ years working experience in development environment as simulation designer.
  2. Proficiency in English is a must
  3. Excellence in working with CAD Software better is Unigraphics NX plus
  4. Experience in working with PDM systems is a plus.
  5. Experience in power tool design, in particular:
    1. Experience in designing complex mechanical systems, such as power-tools related — for mechanical components design Plus
    2. Experience in FEM Simulation analysis software must
    3. Experience in CFD Simulation analysis software Plus
  6. Analytical and organizational skills.
  7. Superior PC knowledge in all Microsoft Windows applications.
  8. The candidate must be mature, initiative, independent and proactive.
  9. Open minded for changes and new experiences.
  10. Able to deal with intercultural problems.
  11. Experience to work with European or/and Overseas technicians.
