What does the role involve?
As a QA Engineer in Performance, you design and implement performance tests, debug and define corrective actions, review system technical requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts). You work closely with the developers and product owner to find gaps in the business logic and ensure that the software is creating value for the customer. You must have the passion for Performance and Automation. You can take on the performance assessment and analysis with a focus on End-to-End Performance Analysis. You can also evangelize our Performance initiatives and our strategy to Shift-Left, based on extensive Automation for Performance.
The Digital Platform team, at our two locations in Boulogne-Billancourt, France and Texas, USA, consists of 130+ team members in 11+ scrum teams working with the newest technologies to create a unique user experience for Hilti’s extraordinary products and services.

What you need is:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, required
- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in software quality assurance
- Strong skills in performance test automation using Gatling with Java/Scala
- Experience with Performance tests tools such as JMeter
- Advanced skills in Java/Scala, POO and Git
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes with a focus toward performance and load tests
- Experience with CI/CD tools
- SAP and Hybris knowledge a plus
-Experience with Atlassian development tools, i.e. Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, Bamboo
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal & written)
