What does the role involve?

As a specification engineer, you’ll be working with our customers, sales teams, contractors and designers to drive the sales of specified products.

This involves driving engagement of specifiers with Hilti differentiated engineering products and services through dedicated engineering planning and execution. You will build up trust with your assigned accounts by educating key decision makers on the latest codes and engineering topics on fastening and fire protection, and assist them on the adoption of proper design methods, master specifications, and use of the right Hilti products in projects with full compliance to local and international codes and standards. You will also ensure a smooth project delivery by channeling specification details to respective account managers to ensure full and timely Hilti specification conversions to meet project delivery timeline.

What you need is:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering 
  • At least 2-3 years experience in Design Office relevant in construction (jobsite experience is a plus)
  • An agile approach to solving problems
  • Strong communication skills
  • Enthusiasm to learn and drive to succeed
  • Due to the nature of the position, a valid driving license is essential
