What's the role?
As a Business Developer (BD), you will take ownership of developing strategic accounts in the
petrochemical/specialty chemicals industries, driving account development, standardization,
project specification, and sales growth. Your role will involve creating and implementing
segment strategies, focusing on project pipelines, and maintaining effective communication
with internal and external stakeholders.

What does the role involve?
• Develop and implement account development strategies to increase business with key accounts in the petrochemicals/specialty chemicals industries.
• Lead the development and execution of the strategy for the petrochemicals/specialty chemicals segment.
• Focus on project pipelines across different locations, ensuring consistent growth.
• Foster multi-level relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Act as a single owner of assigned accounts, maintaining effective communication within the teams and the company.

What you need is:
• Communication skills: Creation of trust through active listening, influencing with leadership, and commercial and technical negotiation skills.
• Should have handled accounts in the petrochemicals/specialty chemicals industries. In -depth knowledge of the petrochemical segment is essential.
• Able to influence internal and external stakeholders around the strategy while understanding external stakeholders’ pain points and trends to adjust it if need be.
• Self-driven and able to work autonomously: Create own planning and execute to reach the targets.
• Identify, understand, and deliver solution selling based on value proposition and be ready to go into the details.
• Actively looking for new businesses and product gaps in current Hilti offerings and feedback to the organization.
• Relationship management: Capable and confident while speaking and connecting to different levels in the assigned account structure.
• Project management capabilities: Manage the complexity of system selling across multiple geographies, functions and customers.
• Networking (internal and external) with confidence while working within a matrix.
• BTech from a reputed university. MBA is preferrable.
