Quality Support Engineer (f/m/d)

What's the role?

With this role you’ll ensure fast turnaround of 3.1 certificates to Market Organizations, support Hilti’s BU Installation Quality Team in operation and Time-to-Market (TTM) project tasks, process local product requests efficiently, and drive transparency in audit findings. Your work directly strengthens product quality and delivery across global markets.

Our site in Lanzenkirchen, based in the south of Vienna, is Hilti´s Competence Center for Ventilated Façade and Installation Systems such as Pipe clamps and Heavy modular systems. As part of our Business Unit Installation, we provide product development, supply, marketing and engineering. Our highly motivated international team works together with colleagues from all over the world in an entrepreneurial environment to bring innovative new products to the market. The special atmosphere at our site is the result of heterogeneous teams, personal performance, teamwork and mutual support.

What does the role involve?

This role ensures operational excellence across several core functions. You’ll manage and process
3.1 certificate requests from allied suppliers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to Market Organizations. You’ll coordinate local supply requests to maintain consistent product quality and assist TTM project teams in executing qualification processes for new developments. Daily tasks include supporting product audit execution, maintaining documentation compliance, and translating supplier data into Hilti-compliant certificates that meet internal and customer standards. Precision, responsiveness, and collaboration are essential.

What you need is:

To help you succeed, we’ll provide you with everything you need so that we’re driving impact together from day one. You’ll find a stable working

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and ideally Excel certification (ECDL)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Confident, hands-on mindset with a drive for innovation and process improvement

This job falls under the collective agreement for metal trade employees in employment group III. The agreement specifies that the minimum gross monthly salary for a full-time position (38.5 hours/week) is € 2.668,69. We value our employees and offer a highly competitive salary package that exceeds the collective agreement salary. You can expect a minimum annual gross salary of € 48.000 (including 13th, 14th, bonus payment) as a starting point.
