Area Sales Manager - Electronics/ Pharma/ Automotive segment

What's the role?

We are looking for a high caliber candidate with strong business acumen to unleash the full potential
in Hilti E&I/ Project Organization. The successful candidate will be a strong finance business partner.

What does the role involve?

  • Report to Head of Industry project, own full responsibility to make & implement strategy, develop business & team and deliver result with P&L.
  • Cover large Electronics (Semiconductor)/ Pharmaceutical/ Automotive (EV Battery) of domestic/ international owner in Japanese market from capturing to execution.
  • Drive project success and maximize sales especially through Hilti’s Integrated Project Solutions offering. Also with leveraging project references, develop accounts incl. non-direct customer for sustainable growth.
  • Lead different roles in the team and coordinate cross functional supports to ensure good customer experience.
  • Proactively collaborate with region and global team and contribute as a member of global leadership team of Industry project.
  • High ambition to constantly develop him or herself, aspiring to take up bigger responsibilities in long term career with Hilti; passionate about people development through coaching, providing clear direction and support, and fully engaged in team members’ career development.

What you need is:

  • Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills with sound business acumen and the ability to advise stakeholders in planning and implementing key business decisions.
  • Demonstrate the ability to roll-up the sleeves and work with others to tackle difficulties with practical solutions; attention to details while not losing the big picture.
  • Adaptable to changes with strong winning and high performing mindset.
  • Fully fluent in Japanese both verbal & written form and Business level of English.

Why should you apply?

  • Bachelor degree or above in finance, business, or other discipline from reputable university.
  • Engineering undergrad, or MBA preferred
  • At least three years of leadership experience in sales, with a proven track record of delivering results and driving business growth.
