Order to Cash Accountant

What's the role?

The Order to Cash Accountant ensures that Hilti’s liabilities are properly computed, and payments are properly prepared, recorded, and disbursed for all Hilti North America entities through the effective management and development of the Accounts Payable Department. This position also takes the lead in Accounts Payable related projects and ensures compliance 1099 processing and reporting to IRS.

What does the role involve?

  • Understand the Purchase to Pay / Order to Cash KPIs and derive improvements for the PTP / OTC processes
  • Review and keep to the service level agreements (SLA) to the entities we serve
  • Monthly processing of monthly ICS controls established by global
  • Continuously leverage our systems and tools to automate and standardize PTP / OTC processes
  • Ensure the timely processing and payment of vendor invoices
  • Ensure that the accounts payable / accounts receivable sub-ledger is maintained in accordance with the applicable accounting principles, policies, and procedures (global and local)
  • Ensure that company policies are followed
  • Interfacing with other Hilti departments as necessary for operations
  • Maintaining auditable records of all accounts payable transactions including the scanning of all documents
  • Maintaining good vendor relationships by promptly responding to vendor inquiries regarding invoice processing
  • Ensuring compliance 1099 processing and reporting to IRS
  • Lead or participate in department projects or tasks on an ongoing and/or as-needed basis
  • Additional duties as assigned

Two percent of Hilti's annual net income is invested in projects of the Hilti Foundation.

What you need is:

  • Associate Degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience, required
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Organization, time management, analytical, communication, decision making, and multi-tasking skills required
  • Project management skills
