Fire Protection Specialist

What's the role?

In this role you'll focus on the business development of Hilti's Firestop product line among current and prospective customers, as well as providing technical support to Hilti's sales force and our customers on the topic of Firestop and fire protection.

This role is a field-based role covering the North of England. You'll need to be comfortable with travelling around the region on a day-to-day basis. A full, clean, manual driving licence is required for this role.

Who is Hilti?

Hilti is where innovation is improving productivity, safety and sustainability in the global construction industry, and beyond. Where strong customer relationships are creating solutions that build a better future. Where there is pride and a sense of belonging across our 120 locations, carrying right into our lives and homes. Where people are exploring possibilities, leveraging their potential, owning their personal development and growing lasting careers. Hilti is very proud to be ranked as the UK's 19th best super-large organisation to work for in the Great Place to Work survey.

What does the role involve?

To build knowledge and competency on this topic, you will provide professional educational seminars, presentations, and testing details, and will inform customers about Hilti solutions including their performance characteristics, applications, and product limitations. You will provide competent advice and recommendations on specific applications to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders e.g. building contractors, architects and engineers, building and fire officials, and Hilti sales personnel.

You will identify, develop, and manage the Hilti Accredited Firestop Specialty Contractor (HAFSC) Program; this includes full implementation of the strategy. You will also support and influence sales in other specified products; seek out these opportunities and passing leads on to the appropriate team member for follow-up. You'll also gather, analyse, and report on market information regarding trends, competitive strategies/actions, innovations, and other business conditions, which have the potential to impact Hilti in the Firestop marketplace, and will identify and implement account acquisition strategies for key competitively owned accounts.
