Customer Onboarding Specialist (Field based)

What's the role?

As an Implementation & Service Specialist (Field based) at Hilti, you will be responsible for further enhancing the Customer Experience (CX) of our Solution Customers by providing the optimum onboarding and training to maximise the value created by our offering, from the moment they sign up.

What does the role involve?

This role is created to further enhance the Customer Experience (CX) of our Solution Customers by providing the optimum onboarding and training to maximise the value created by our offering, from the moment they sign up.

The purpose of the role is to provide technical customer support during the implementation process.

Other Duties Include: 

  • Lead the on-site implementation of TPM (Tool Park Management) solution contracts
  • Travelling to customer jobsites to deliver high-quality training and tagging customer assets, commodities and consumables.
  • Drive impactful user enablement to ensure adoption and self-service
  • Training customers on the use of both desktop and smartphone ON!Track applications – From entering asset data themselves to using the system to best help their daily work.
  • Setting milestones and touch points with the customer, to support software integration as part of a Care Phase.
  • Execute standardized on-site care services
  • Nurturing relationships with customers and helping them find the most innovative and software driven solutions for their needs during the Grow Phase.
  • Create leads for targeted up- & cross-selling
  • Identifies growth potential and creates leads

What you need is:


  • A customer centric approach and a passion for customer excellence
  • Understands specific user needs and is a good coach
  • Familiarity with the requirements of successful change management and how to support the customer in the process
  • Willingness to learn, passionate and driven
  • A real team player with an eye for detail
  • Full working rights in Ireland
  • A full, clean manual drivers’ license
