What's the role?

-Product Owner identifies user and stakeholders needs and defines content requirements based on project scope (User stories)
and prioritizes their execution.
-Product Owner builds the user stories (content briefings) for the content creation team based on existing guidelines and
market requirements; involving the content creation team when needed.
-Product Owner works with global cross-functional teams and is economically responsible for his/her mission.
-Product Owner drives continuous improvements in close collaboration with main enablers.
-Product Owner is responsible for accepting the work generated by the development team to ensure the success of the digital
product.

What does the role involve?

Content Strategy and Planning:

  • Define Content Goals: Work with stakeholders (Markets/BUs/UX) to define the overall goals for the website content. This could include increasing brand awareness, generating leads, or providing customer support.\
  • Content Audit: Conduct a regular content audit to assess the existing content for accuracy, relevance, and effectiveness.
  • Prioritization: Prioritize content needs based on user needs, business objectives, and resource availability. (Define sprint goals of your scrum team, manage the backlog)
Content Development and Management:
  • Content Requirements: Work with content creators (copywriters, subject matter experts) to define clear content requirements for each page, including tone, voice, and target audience.
  • Content Collaboration: Facilitate collaboration between content creators, designers, Tech POs (AEM), and SEO specialists to ensure a cohesive and user-friendly experience.
  • Content Review and Approval: Review and approve all content before it goes live on the website. This includes checking for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Content Governance: Establish and maintain content governance policies to ensure consistent quality and formatting across the website.
Content Performance and Optimization:
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor key website analytics (e.g., page views, user engagement) to understand user behavior and content performance.
  • A/B testing: Run A/B tests to identify the most effective content formats, headlines, and calls to action (CTAs).
  • Content Optimization: Based on data and user feedback, recommend updates and improvements to existing content.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Stay Informed: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, user behavior, and best practices for website content.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders about content needs, progress, and results.
  • Content Management System (CMS) Management: Ensure the smooth operation and user-friendliness of the content management system (CMS) for content creators by collaborating with the appropriate scrum teams.

We are actively reshaping the concepts of marketing and sales at Hilti in the future. And if it were not enough, this will all happen from a newly established global Digital Marketing and sales team, located in a new best-in-class office in Paris/ Boulogne-Billancourt

What you need is:

  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing, product owner or a related field (e.g., advertising, public relations)
  • Experience in Jira
  • Good communications skills
  • Fluent in English
