Account Manager, Business Development of Hilti Solutions (Solutions Consultant)

What's the role?

Due to continued growth, we have an exciting and dynamic opportunity to join Hilti Ireland as an Account Manager, Business Development Hilti Solutions (Solutions Consultant) in the Munster/Connacht Regions; your new role will cover our Provinces Region; spanning all counties from Cork to Mayo, Wexford to Roscommon and all counties in between.

Your new role will see you offering our cutting-edge services, including our product leasing and asset management to an existing customer base, working collaboratively with our passionate and talented Account Management team. This is a highly regarded role within Hilti, and you will have the opportunity to utilise your solutions centric sales approach coupled with Hilti’s cutting-edge solutions portfolio.

What does the role involve?

As a Solutions Consultant, you will report directly to your supportive Regional Manager, working cohesively with teammates, coaching the team to improve their competency within Hilti’s specialist services, in addition to building and executing action plans to uncover opportunities and drive sales. You will also be supporting customers by providing analysis on their business needs, as well as excellent customer service in the software implementation and training phases of ON!Track (asset management) in particular.

Your new role will see you offering our cutting-edge services (asset management and asset leasing) to our existing customer base. You’ll be working closely with our professional and approachable sales teams in the field, coaching team members to improve their competency in the specialist services, as well as building and executing action plans to uncover opportunities and drive sales.

This exciting and dynamic role will see you working autonomously and continuously demonstrating a growth mentality to uncover solutions and demonstrate Hilti’s productivity, efficiency and optimisation of construction data.

Last year alone, we introduced 70 new products and multiple services and software solutions to the global construction market.

What you need is:

  • Strong interest in Hilti’s solutions portfolio
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional , collaborative team environment
  • A methodical and driven approach to sales; with a sound ability to identify decision makers
  • Self-starter capable of working independently, managing your own call cycle
  • Willingness to learn, passionate and driven
  • A real team player with an eye for detail
  • Full working rights in Ireland
  • A full, clean manual driver’s license

Your new role will be rewarding and challenging, and you will be given the support of your leader, your peers and Hilti to ensure you succeed. Within your first 3 months you will have 4 weeks (non-consecutive) training by our state-of-the-art hub in Manchester. This will include training on the Hilti approach, process and product training. The training doesn’t stop there! We have huge amounts of training available to continually grow and develop (including modules created in partnership with Ivy League Universities).
