What's the Role?
We are looking for university graduates to join Hilti for the 12-months programs at the Information Management Academy (IM Academy).
With the help of senior experts and, of course, your own engagement, you will gain hands-on experience in SAP Business Warehouse (SAP BW), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and our Enterprise Data Lake (AWS, Azure).
You will be part of an engaged Information Management team and, after successful completion of the program, you will continue to help Hilti generate ideas and benefits out of its tremendous wealth of external and internal data. We are using it to bring our customer relationship to another level as well as develop advanced tools and services based on tool data. Our Information Management team is highly technical and at the same time at the core of Hilti’s digital business.

What does the role involve?
In this role, you will be a part of the Information Management department and will gain hands-on experience in the four following teams at Hilti
- Business Intelligence (SAP Business Warehouse)
- Business Intelligence Front-end (SAP Analytics Cloud)
- Enterprise Data Lake (AWS, Azure)
The Information Management group is embarking on an exciting journey to transform the reporting landscape of the organization, moving from hindsight reporting to analytics, insights and foresight that will enable employees at all levels to make the best decisions to drive business outcomes.
We are a Global team and offers global responsibility and frequent interaction with Process Owners and Process Managers across multiple stakeholders both internally (HQ, regions, business lines) and externally.

What you need is
- Bachelor in computer science, engineering or related field, Masters preferred
- An entrepreneurial mindset, team player, and good problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English (verbal and written) with excellent communication skills
- Ideally, you already have some experience with BI principles, Data Analytics, Data Warehousing, Data Modelling and/or SAP BW
- Also, ideally, you already have gained software engineering skills (software architecture, version control systems, continuous integration software)
