What's the role?
As an intern in Computer Vision and AI team, you will be a part of research and development on topics related to the state-of-the-art technologies. You will work closely on semantic segmentation, monocular depth estimation, and point cloud processing with real-world applications in the construction industry.
Start date is flexible to the student's availability, duration for at least 6 months (9+ if there is a wish to transform it into a thesis).

What does the role involve?
Imagine a role where you are not just building computer vision models in a controlled setup but bringing real-world understanding to dynamic environments. We are looking for someone who is excited about learning about and applying cutting-edge computer vision techniques to extract semantic information from both 2D and 3D data and estimate depth from single images. You will be looking into the current state-of-the-art literature, implementing novel approaches, and working on proof-of-concept solutions that push the boundaries of what is possible in complex conditions of construction sites.

What you need is:
- Enrollment for the whole internship period in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in the field of computer science, robotics or related
- Good programming knowledge (Python or C++)
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Patience, drive and persistence for working on challenging problems
- A proactive approach and self-reliant personality
- Experience in computer vision, especially in semantic segmentation or depth estimation, are a plus
