The position of Value Engineer is responsible on the design of applications up to a medium complexity based on Hilti modular support systems based on Hilti proprietary software suite “PROFIS installation”, “MSE” and “RSTAB”, under guidance of a Value Engineer Supervisor

What does the role involve?
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Engineer and design complete applications based on Hilti modular support systems and related products such as anchors or direct fastening solutions, or eventually Fire Stop solutions
- Analyze national and international projects, to interpret the application and assess whether all the information necessary for the recommendation of the specific products is contained.
- Develop and maintain competence in the functions and general processes of Support Engineering and provide coverage as needed.
- Produce written communications to clients to provide engineering consulting/ designing/ drawing/ engineer judgments/ manual calculations with appropriate usage of our products and technical considerations under any possible responsibilities.
- Ensure the adherence to relevant codes and Hilti standards in project engineering.
2% of our profit goes to the Hilti Foundation and is used for voluntary projects on education, science and social development.

What you need is:
- Training required: Civil Engineer or Mechanical Engineer
- Minimum technical details required:
- Know how in usage of structural engineering software (R-Stab, SAP2000, Nastran)
- knowledge about plant design software (SmartPlant 3D or E3D)
- Structural engineering background
- Spanish and English are a must, German is a Plus
