Global Leadership Graduate Programme (Outperformer) – Business & Finance Tracks

Are you ready to shape the future of a global business – and accelerate your own? We’re looking for bold, curious, high performing master’s graduates who want to grow into tomorrow’s international leaders at Hilti.

Outperformer is our flagship global leadership development programme – a fast paced, immersive, two year journey designed to stretch your thinking, build your capabilities, and give you real responsibility from day one.

This is where your potential becomes real and plays a key role in achieving our purpose of Making Construction Better.

What You'll do

As an Outperformer, you’ll rotate through diverse roles and teams across our business, both locally and internationally. You’ll learn from experienced senior leaders, work on high impact projects, and grow through intentional coaching and mentoring – all while gaining a deep understanding of Hilti’s customer focused business model.

You can choose from two tracks:

  • Business Track with 4 rotations:
o 12 months as an Account Manager in Finland – owning customer relationships and seeing our products and solutions come to life.
o 3 months on an operational project in Finland across areas like marketing, engineering, HR, logistics, or finance.
o 6 months on a strategic regional project in Northern Europe.
o 3 months on an international assignment outside Northern Europe.

  • Finance Track with 4 rotations:
o 12 months as an Account Manager in Finland.
o 3 months on a local finance project in Finland.
o 6 months in a regional Controlling & Reporting project in Northern Europe.
o 3 months on an international finance project.

Whichever track you choose, every rotation is designed to give you confidence, skills, and a global mindset.

What You’ll Bring

  • Suitable candidates must have the right to work without the need for additional work permit or visa sponsorship (now or in the future).
  • You’ve graduated within 2 years of your application, or you’re preparing to graduate in 2026, with a master’s degree.

  • You have at least 3 months of international experience – working, studying, or volunteering abroad.
  • You have less than 2 years of full-time professional experience.
  • Being multilingual is a benefit, however we do expect you to be willing to learn another language whilst on the programme and reach a proficient level by the end.
  • You’re curious and committed, a flexible team player with excellent communication and social skills. You’re a global thinker, interested in general management topics, keen on intercultural experiences and opportunities working abroad.
  • You speak fluent Finnish and English.
