Talent Acquisition Specialist

What's the Role?

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a key member of the Middle East, Turkey & Africa (META) Talent Acquisition team, playing a vital role in supporting our global vision of being an employer of choice. This position is responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end recruitment process for the Africa Region, while also generating and nurturing talent pipelines. Additionally, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will provide support for recruitment activities across other META markets as needed.

What does the role involve?

Within the end-to-end recruitment process, you will collaborate closely with hiring managers and local and regional HR teams from the moment a recruitment request is received. Your responsibilities will include utilizing our HCM and ATS platforms to perform necessary tasks, sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates, organizing stakeholder interviews, and presenting final offers to candidates, all while ensuring a best-in-class candidate experience.

In this role, you will manage referrals and external talent pools via our TRM platform, building a strong bench/pipeline of candidates for future recruitment needs. Additionally, you will support internal talent pools by organizing local assessment centres and internal interviews as needed.

Moreover, you will assist your markets in attracting local talent through social media strategies and employer branding efforts related to talent attraction and localization requirements. In collaboration with the regional team, you will also work on university partnerships, developing and maintaining relationships with target schools to support all aspects of university recruiting for your market.

What you need is:

• Minimum of 4 years professional experience in a recruitment or talent acquisition role, with experience in managing the full cycle recruitment process • Evidence of working as a recruitment partner with key stakeholders, across a multi-national matrix organization • Advanced written and verbal proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively with cross functional team members (local and international) and management • Deep understanding of recruitment tools and systems, including search methods and applicant tracking systems • Strong follow-up and on-time execution and a proactive approach in identifying overall business hiring needs • High candidate centricity mindset, providing a best-in-class candidate experience
