Diamond Van Specialist (Sales Support)

What's the role?

We are looking for an experienced and highly efficient driver to transport equipment to and from client site, assisting in the setup of the equipment for the relevant Account manager, - in their assigned territories.

The key responsibilities for this role include timely setup for appointments, driving from site to site, making sure equipment is clean and in working condition , disassembling equipment on site once meeting is finished & helping out in the tool service center when not needed in the field.

What does the role involve?

You will be required to effectively map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip to and from site to be on time for appointments, You will need to set up Diamond Coring tools on site, this includes tool, stand and all needed component for a product demo.

An important aspect of this role is to assist Account Managers with loading and unloading their tools and liaise with Account managers on appointments to ensure you are on top of changing times and where customers are on site, Adjusting the routes to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed..

Answer Account Managers questions about the availability and schedule of your work week. Schedule regular car service appointments and report any issues and book car wash and detailing services to maintain interior and exterior cleanliness of the car, Communicate with Product Manager on the stock in the Diamond Van as well as what is needed for upcoming appointments.

Ultimately, you will help us increase customer satisfaction by making sure account managers have the needed tooling on site to ensure a seamless product demo.

What you need is:

  • Completed Matric Qualification
  • A completed tertiary qualification is an added advantage
  • Valid driver’s license
  • A clean driving record with no traffic violations.
