Intern or thesis student – Engineering Plant 1 (m/f/x)

What's the role?

Are you interested to participate in innovation and process development in a leading global manufacturing organization? We have an open position for an intern in our local engineering team for consumable production. Bring in your expertise to help us to continuously improve our production and optimize our machine productivity

Start date is flexible to the student's availability, minimum duration of 3 months (preferably 6 months)

What does the role involve?

As an intern in our engineering team at our headquarter in Schaan, Liechtenstein, you will work closely with engineers and production specialists to optimize our production & value stream. You will be responsible for executing failure analysis as well as development and testing of prototypes. As part of our continuous improvement processes and operational excellence team you will work on next generation manufacturing technologies within the context of industry 4.0.

If you are keen on development and implementation of solutions, material science as well as eager to learn new production processes, this position will path the way for your further career development. What you need is:

  • Enrolled in Bachelor's or Master's program in mechanical or material science for the whole internship period
  • Preferably first experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in German or English
  • You are self-motivated, responsible and have a strong self-management
  • Passion for innovation and process development
  • Interest in material science and curious about new production processes
  • Enthusiasm to learn and drive to succeed
