What's the role?
We are looking for a passionate developer who will be responsible for designing and implementing embedded SW solutions for high quality optical measurement devices used in the construction industry. You will be collaborating with an engaged team and will be involved in the full development life cycle - from prototype to the final product.

What does the role involve?
In this role, you will be developing applications running on embedded Linux on a headless device. You will be implementing protocols needed for tool internal communication but also with external software clients. In your daily work you will integrate high performance control algorithms and will deal with image processing. With your hands-on mentality you will debug your application on the respective hardware and will do performance profiling to ensure to deliver high quality embedded software to all stakeholders. The interdisciplinary team, you will be working in, will require a proactive attitude to collaborate with other embedded software developers and development disciplines like electronics and system engineering. You will contribute to our products from technology phase to the final product and get the opportunity to learn what is needed to build a high-quality optoelectronic device.

What you need is:
- A Masters’ degree in computer sciences, electronics engineering or similar
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages C++
- Basic understanding of electronics and embedded systems
- Experienced in software design
- A proven track record in developing high quality code for industrialized embedded systems
- Strong interpersonal skills to successfully perform in a global matrix environment and pro-active mindset
- Fluency in spoken and written English
