Finance Process Manager for Large Projects (based in Milan or Manchester)

What's the role?

We are seeking a Finance Process Manager responsible for our Large Project business. Your scope will include topics on performance management, people development, project and process management, entrepreneurship, and compliance & risk.
This role can be filled in other European locations. Please state your preferred location in your application.

What does the role involve?

In this role, you will collaborate on defining, analyzing, and steering KPIs related to our Large Project Business processes. You will support the implementation of sustainable knowledge management concepts, including up-to-date documentation and learning contents for the respective communities.
You will work closely with contributors to achieve targets while ensuring adherence to global standards and local requirements. Acting as a business partner with finance teams, you will work together to establish best-in-class order to payment and record to report processes in our entities. Your role will also involve educating, inspiring, and training the community and cross-functional teams to support process excellence and compliance.
You will identify and support the implementation of end-to-end process improvements using continuous improvement (CIP) tools and coordinate ERP system changes. As a change agent, you will challenge the status quo, identify external trends, and exploit process-related opportunities.
Finally, you will participate in defining compliant processes, monitor and enhance Internal Control System (ICS) controls, and help implement related improvements for the processes in your area of responsibility.

Why should you apply?

  • A bachelor's or master’s degree in finance or IT
  • At least 3 years of experience in a project management / operational excellence / Process Manager role within in a multinational Shared Service Center or organization
  • Expertise in SAP S4HANA
  • Evidence of acting as a successful business partner through influencing finance & non-finance stakeholders
  • Strategic, conceptual, visionary thinking, crafting direction skills
