Intern - Project Management - Power Tools (m/f/x)

What's the role?

In the Power Tools and Accessories Business Unit, we passionately develop, supply, and market some of the leading tools you will find on construction sites worldwide. You will be working alongside an experienced and interdisciplinary team that constantly drives competitive advantages through clearly differentiated tools.

We have a rolling application basis, please apply at any time. Internships are year-round; hence, we can offer the beautiful mountains between Austria and Switzerland in all their seasons.

Start date is flexible to the student’s availability – ideally in April 2025, duration 6 months with option to extend.

What does the role involve?

As intern in our department, you’ll be part of a competent and diverse team which is responsible for the new product development projects for the Power Tools and Accessories Business Unit. You’ll work closely with our experts to develop strategies and products to continue our strong growth in markets around the globe. In this role, you will have strong exposure to the business unit project management team incl. marketing, development as well as to our supply organization.
Your key responsibilities will be to support the project management team by running initiatives in project itself as well as for the improving our processes and sharpen our project management system. This may e.g. include data analysis, implementation and tracking of activities within running projects, gap analysis and improvement of existing standards including training and rollout.

Another key responsibility will be to support experts in project execution and contribute to organizational development. Furthermore, you prepare recommendations and business cases within the department.
Additionally, you will liaise with key stakeholders to keep them informed of progress and to make relevant decisions.

The role may require some limited travel within Europe.

What you need is:

  • MBA or Master student in engineering / technical studies(preferred)
  • Ideally 1 year of work experience
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills with a sense for pragmatic solutions
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently or within a team to get things done
