Regional Process Expert (RPE) Accounting for Account Payable Area

What's the role?

The Finance Regional Process Expert (RPE) acts as a business partner to the Finance teams to establish best in class Account Payable (contabilità fornitori) processes in the Shared Service Center (SSC).
In this role, you are contributing to a strategy for the Account payable function, which includes people development, performance management, system utilization, automation, risk mitigation, compliance, and community management

What does the role involve?

As the Finance Process Expert , you will drive the Finance Accounting projects (General Ledger, Account Payable) and tool implementations for the Shared Service Center and/or across your region. You will identify and implement end-to-end process improvements using best suited technologies.
From a people perspective, you will train and support Shared Service Center and accounting team members to drive operational excellence and compliance.
Your main tasks will be:

  • Support Account payable and General ledger processes in all assigned Market Organization(s), ensuring processes are standardized and efficient, using available systems and software to make improvements
  • Support Account receivable team with system knowledge and expertise for all relevant systems and provide training and upskilling
  • Perform tasks related to Hilti’s Internal Control System for assigned Market Organization(s) regarding Account receivable topics
  • Assist with annual internal and external audits by preparing assigned schedules, providing supporting documentation, and meeting with auditors, as needed
  • Contribute to department and organization special management projects, as assigned
  • Identify opportunities for and drive continuous process improvement for efficiency gains
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of responsibilities and cross-train for processes, as needed

What you need is:

  • BSc Degree in IT or Economics
  • Fluent in English and Italian language, additional language from the from the market organizations covered by the Hilti ByD SSC is considered an advantage
  • Good knowledge SAP ByD and excel is an advantages
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Team orientation, open-minded personality
  • Passion for development and improve Finance process
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
