Intern or thesis student – Quality Management Plant 1 (m/f/x)

What's the role?

As an intern in Quality Management department in headquarter in Schaan, Principality of Liechtenstein, your responsibilities will cover the support of the QM operations and the implementation of new products. You will be part of continuous improvement processes as well as operational excellence topics within the context of industry 4.0. Additional tasks will be to collect and assess practical use cases for industry 4.0 applications in the production and drive proactively the implementation phase on a global scale.

Start date is flexible to the student's availability, duration 6 months with option to extend.

What does the role involve?

As intern in our department, you’ll be part of a competent and diverse team which operates in different fields that reach from anchor production, direct fastening to diamond consumables. You’ll work closely with our experts in Engineering, Development and Production to improve processes and take over own projects along the whole value stream.

Your key responsibilities will be to analyse and improve existing standards, identify gaps and develop global standards to ensure operational excellence. You will also be responsible to develop trainings and documentation concepts as well as implement defined standards to make them sustainable. You will lay out these processes in a process map and help to sharpen our management system.

Batuhan, Intern: In Quality Management at Plant 1, I had the privilege of closely collaborating with the production and diverse value streams. The advantageous aspect of my role was the substantial variety of tasks, allowing me to engage with a wide array of individuals. I was actively involved in day-to-day operations and spearheaded numerous exciting projects for which I held accountable roles. One of the most exciting projects I worked on was Organizing, Coordinating and the Analysis of a Quality Pilot Series Production (QN) for a newly introduced product.

What you need is:

  • Enrollment for the whole internship period in a Bachelor/Master’s program in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Management, Quality Management, Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English and German
  • You should be proactive, motivated and have a strong sense of responsibility
  • Strong computer skills including handling of MS Office
  • A strategic approach and good problem-solving skills with a strong self-management complete your profile
