For Europe’s most complex and high-impact construction projects we are looking looking for a Fire Protection Consultant to join our Cross-European Large Projects team!

What does the role involve?

As a Fire Protection Consultant, you will play a strategic role in driving firestop solutions across some of the most complex, cross-border construction projects in Europe. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the subject-matter expert for passive fire protection across large-scale European projects (e.g. data centers, pharma, infrastructure, energy).
  • Advising and partnering with stakeholders such as Fire Safety Engineers, General Contractors, and Consultants across multiple countries.
  • Translating regulations, standards, and certifications (e.g. EN 1366, ETA, EAD) into practical solutions tailored to each project.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of integrated fire protection strategies in collaboration with Hilti teams, clients, and partners.
  • Working closely with product management, engineering, and segment teams to identify technical gaps and co-develop offerings (hardware, software, and services).
  • Driving stakeholder alignment and account development across markets with diverse languages, cultures, and business structures.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor and business developer with deep technical credibility.

What you need is:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical discipline (e.g. civil or mechanical engineering, fire safety engineering).
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in fire protection or a closely related technical field.
  • Solid understanding of passive fire protection regulations and approval processes across Europe.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to influence and advise at a senior level.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 20%).
    • Location: flexible, preferably Netherlands
