The purpose of the role is to act as a field-based engineer with a specifier territory focusing on medium-sized accounts.
Scope: Standard/anchor role in the Specification Engineer structure

1. Provide Post Install Structure Connection Solution (Post Install Anchor and Post Install Rebar) to consultant and contractor. Solution needs to follow Malaysia Design Standard or Eurocode Design Standard and coverage from design to construction.
2. The Person must have strong knowledge and able to provide value engineering in Post Install Anchor and Post Install Rebar to Consultant and Contractor. Able to provide latest Post Install Connection Design Practice, Example, EC2-4, TR069, TR066 etc.
3. Deliver presentation for seminar or conference related to Post Install Connection topics. The seminar must be recognized by BEM/IEM/LAM with CPD. Provide technical support and training to the company’s personnel and customers, to ensure the delivery of a high-quality engineering support service at all times.
4. Maximize the sales potential of Hilti products and services through specification. The person must be very familiar with HILTI Fastening system and preferable to have strong knowledge or research with Hilti Products.
5. Provide engineering support and coverage to customers to gain specifications, through providing a value engineering service. Ensure effective communication to and active involvement with the building envelope (BE) and other sales teams for strong conversion.
6. Self-Discipline and able to plan for priorities for all activities to ensure optimum use of time and cost.
7. Carry out all quality control and risk avoidance duties as required in a timely and professional manner, to maintain the integrity of the company.

1. Graduate in Structure Engineering with knowledge in Post Install Connection. Preferable PhD research in relevant topic with Hilti Products.
2. At least 5 years’ experience in Structure Engineering Firm and familiar with Post Install Connection. With oversea engineering experience preferable.
3. Has a good level of knowledge of the construction industry, and the design & construction process with all relevant technical disciplines associated with Hilti applications/products.
4. Willingness to learn and concentrate on the following product lines: Post Install structure connection, firestop, and support system.
5. Self-Discipline and ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of stakeholders.
6. Proven Project management skills.
7. Strong commercial and business acumen skills.
