Engineering Business Developer

What's the role?

In the role of Engineering Business Developer, you will be partnering with the top UK construction firms in-house engineering teams, pro-actively developing specifications and securing Hilti technical solutions on major construction projects.

You will aim to maximise Hilti’s specification potential by providing a high standard of engineering service and by working closely with in-house design teams of key contractors.

You will preferably be based in Greater London but the role will have national coverage.

What does the role involve?

In this role you will be tasked with proactively building relationships with the key engineering contacts within Top UK construction firms, providing technical advice and delivering engineering services on the Hilti portfolio (products, software and services).

You'll be responsible for the national account development strategy and its implementation as well as driving Hilti specifications and sales for key product categories: post-installed anchors & rebar, SafeSET system, direct fastening and the design software PROFIS Engineering.

Responsibilities includes travelling nationwide/abroad when needed.

What you need is:


  • Degree in Civil / Structural or Mechanical Engineering
  • Strong demonstrable experience in business development and account development
  • Previous knowledge or experience of working in construction industry is essential
  • Good level of knowledge of the construction industry, the design processes and relevant technical disciplines associated with construction industry.
  • Full and clean manual driving license

Who should apply?
