What's the role?
You are part of a cross functional project team developing highly differentiated direct fastening tools. Your role is to lead the technical development of these products by steering development, testing, external/internal partners and supporting functions to achieve outstanding technical solutions.
Who is Hilti?

A family-established company, we are over 32,000 employees based in 120 international locations. At Hilti, we provide leading-edge tools, technologies, software, and services for the global construction industry and beyond. Our strong customer relationships make us a partner on the job site, creating solutions that build a better future. What does the role involve?
Incubate, develop, and mature innovative, most productive and highest performing direct fastening systems.
Your key responsibility will be to lead the technical part of our projects. You will conceptualize product ideas, design and generate prototypes, coordinate simulation activities, set-up testing and qualification methods and you will be the interface to our internal and external suppliers for the production process development and industrialization. You will be coordinating supporting resources from different organizations both internal and external partners. You will at the same time contribute with your own technology work and steer engineers and technicians in your project teams. Internal communication on project status and technical maturity is a recurring activity. Assessing the technical maturity and the associated risk profile of the different solution is a key competence.
