What's the role?

In this role, you will own a product category and drive competitiveness, SPC productivity, supply flexibility & resilience, ensure availability, quality, and new technologies where relevant. You will develop and nurture supplier network to deliver the supply strategy for own portfolio. In addition, you will lead supply topics within TTM’s for new products and manage CoGS projects.

What does the role involve?

Leading a product category within supply requires technical product and manufacturing expertise. The opportunity to drive changes and make long-term supply decisions is key for successful development
of the future supply structure and managing stakeholders across business unit functions.

Define and execute global supply, COGS, and relocation projects to secure competitiveness in order to maintain product margin and sales success. Nurture supplier relationships and negotiate prices to achieve sustainable productivity and operational excellence. Collaborate closely with departments such as quality, development, marketing, and project management to meet ambitious targets.

In this role, you will have personal development opportunities and career options within and beyond supply/procurement community. Opportunities to work overseas and develop new or alternative supply setups are given continuously. Outstanding communication skills and a successful track record are essential for career progression to management positions.

What you need is:

  • University degree in a technical (preferably mechanical or chemical engineering) field plus MBA education advantageous
  • Professional experience in procurement and supply chain management
  • Strong business leadership mindset with proven skills in project management and affinity to lead people
  • Profound negotiation skills and experience combined w/ excellent prestation skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German, additional language beneficial
