What's the role?
• Application engineer is the primary technical resource for the PMO responsible for designing of modular channel support system. He/She has to work in conjunction with sales, business developers, PMOs, BIM CC or any other technical teams.
• He/she is responsible for designing overall optimized solutions using Hilti installation system portfolio like MT and Oglaend. The person must have experience of working on structural software and understanding of structural analysis. He/she has to prepare the supporting solutions from customer inputs in forms of excel, STAAD output, AutoCAD drawings, REVIT/ Naviswork files and prepare the offering including structural
designs, BOQ and trypical drawings.

What does the role involve?
Key Responsibilities: - Provide Comprehensive Engineered Solutions: Deliver structural calculations, BOQ, and drawings for modular support systems used in MEP and structural applications. - Project Acquisition: Support BD/KPM during the project bidding or conceptual phase with quality assessments based on customer information or past projects, and estimate engineering/modelling services. - Project Execution: Optimize solutions based on customer inputs using the Hilti Installation system, prepare BOQ, communicate with customers regarding missing inputs, and collaborate with BIM modelers. - Documentation and Time Management: Ensure proper documentation throughout the project and maintain regular reporting of hours to the Project Manager. - Team Collaboration: Work closely with PMO/ECC members, Hilti regional counterparts, and functional teams. Maintain knowledge of Hilti and Oglaend product portfolios and relevant industry codes, working closely with AutoCAD Drafters and BIM Modelers. Accountabilities: - Ensure fully compliant designs that meet customer needs without compromising safety standards. - Provide design solutions through BIM Project Manager or KMP/BD.

What you need is:
Education: - Degree in Structural or Civil - 8-10 years of relevant experience.
Specialized Knowledge: - Proficiency in structural software (STAAD, RSTAB). - Familiarity with MEP guidelines like ASME is a plus. - Working knowledge of AutoCAD, REVIT, and Navisworks.
Key Personal Skills: - Functional Expertise: Strong background in structural or civil engineering, familiarity with Hilti’s installation software (Profis Installation), and product portfolio (MQ, MC, MI, MIQ, Oglaend). - Business Acumen: Understanding the ISB strategy for India and the commercial implications of various portfolio options, including services like cutting, kitting, and logistics. - Problem-Solving: An analytical mindset with a passion for solving complex problems and sharing knowledge. - Execution: Strong focus on meeting deadlines and delivering quality results through collaboration. - Teamwork: Willingness to work cross-functionally and empathetically within multicultural teams. - Growth: High learning agility and a desire to continuously improve, along with a willingness to work independently or take direction as needed.
