What does the role involve?

As Finance Process Expert for Core Finance, you are contributing to the strategic development and transformation of the General Ledger (GL) function, which includes people development, performance management, system utilization, automation, risk mitigation, compliance, and community management.
Your tasks will include:

  • Collaborate on transformative initiatives that integrate AI, ML, and advanced analytics with SAP S/4HANA and BlackLine Systems , driving automation and optimization to enhance financial processes and operations across the organization.
  • Support end-to-end process improvements , working closely with finance and IT teams to streamline the financial close process, improve reconciliation accuracy, and enhance reporting efficiency.
  • Enhance compliance by leveraging advanced technology to ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal controls, while continuously optimizing processes to meet audit and governance standards.
  • Leverage BlackLine to improve financial close automation, reconciliation processes, and intercompany transaction management, helping to reduce manual workloads and mitigate risks.
  • Foster a culture of innovation , applying lean and agile methodologies to accelerate process delivery, reduce cycle times, and promote continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate as a strategic business partner with global teams to align technology solutions with business goals, ensuring that financial operations are efficient, compliant, and forward-thinking.
  • Mentor and cultivate talent within a cohesive community management framework, empowering a high-performing team to deliver impactful results, enhance expertise, and drive the ongoing success and innovation of the finance organization.

What you need is:

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, business, IT or a related field, and/or other globally recognized financial qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, etc.;
  • A minimum of three years of demonstrated expertise in developing vision/strategy and project methodologies, along with operational excellence, ensuring lean operations; ability to educate, inspire and train employees
  • Extensive expertise with SAP S/4HANA in financial operations, particularly in the General Ledger function
  • Proven expertise with BlackLine systems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication and strong stakeholder management at all levels in a global matrix environment. Proven ability in stakeholder management and a proactive, hands-on approach
  • Strong grasp of the tools used for finance automation, experimentation, personalization, attribution, and analytics
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
