What's the role?

Join us as the Head of Quality for our Business Unit Fire Protection, where you will have a global impact on the Quality Management of the products from development to end-of-life. You will lead a team and drive Quality across our entire product portfolio, shaping strategic direction and enhancing our Quality Management System. Reporting to the Global Head of Quality of Hilti, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional quality performance of our product to delight our customers.

This full-time role is available as soon as possible.

What does the role involve?

In this role you will define the quality strategy and oversee all facets of quality management for our diverse business unit portfolio. Your responsibilities will span from product release to supplier management, as well as initiating preventive actions, and operational enhancements. Leading and nurturing talented teams and suppliers across Europe, the US and Asia will be instrumental to your success. What you need is:

To help you succeed, we’ll provide you with everything you need so that we’re driving impact together from day one. You’ll find a stable working
environment, exceptional support, learning and development, and a great team around you. Here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:

  • A Master degree or higher ideally in Chemical engineering or a related field.
  • A proven track record in Quality Management with state-of-the-art methodology know-how ideally in Supplier Quality Management and good business acumen.
  • Several years of leadership experience of internationals teams of at least 5 people and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with industrial mass production, ideally in chemical- but also mechanical production is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to successfully perform in a global matrix environment and demonstrated ability in stakeholder management.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Willingness to regularly travel internationally, mainly in Europe and the US.
