What's the role?

The role of the Strategic Pricing Analyst is to manage the pricing strategy of Hilti North America’s (HNA) product lines while maintaining the integrity of HNA’s premium market position and maximizing market penetration and business profitability. This position leads market research, manages pricing policies, and ensures pricing data accuracy in all company systems.

What does the role involve?

  • Partner with various Business Unit and Trade Managers in development of current and new product price structures ensuring both market penetration and business profitability.
  • Perform proactive data mining, analysis, and identification of price improvement opportunities to include sales and margin, customers, suppliers, and overrides.
  • Develop and prepare impact analysis models of price change and strategy decisions for internal customers to ensure margins meet business objectives and strategies.
  • Prepare and publish HNA Trade Templates.
  • Develop and administer the process for entering and maintaining all product pricing in SAP.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

What you need is:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or related area required; Master’s Degree preferred
  • Five or more years of relevant business experience including at least two years in financial analysis
  • Must have a detailed understanding of Hilti business processes
  • Excellent personal interaction skills
  • Must possess ability to interact and present findings to senior level management
  • Requires strong data mining background; experience utilizing BI and SAP queries for large data sets a plus
  • Strong data analysis and modeling skills
  • Demonstrated experience with MS Office including PowerPoint, Excel, and Access
