IT Business Analyst – Salesforce

What's the role?

We are looking for an IT Business Analyst in our Sales and Marketing IT department. In this role, you will contribute towards building the future of Hilti’s territory management with an end-to-end solution on Salesforce CRM. The solution will optimize our sales approach bring a substantial impact to our customer interaction and sales. You will be collaborating closely with business stakeholders, various IT teams, and external partners such as Salesforce to bring out the full potential of the platform’s capabilities. On top, you will address complex requirements and challenges to help Hilti achieve our vision of globalizing and transforming Territory Management across all our global markets.

What does the role involve?

At Hilti, we build direct customer relationships with our customers by assigning the right salesperson (with the right territory) to the right customer. We do this with a Territory Management tool that optimizes customer-to-territory assignments. As a Business Analyst, you will be delivering direct business impact by enabling our Hilti sales force to collaborate and thrive in built-to-win territories with the highest probability of success. This ultimately contributes to the growth of our engaged customers worldwide.

In this role, you own, manage, and iteratively develop Territory Management solutions built on Salesforce CRM. You will be working closely with international business and IT counterparts in a Development Scrum team. You identify, analyze and implement business requirements for innovative Territory Management solutions on a global scale based on user needs and strategic requirements.
You also have direct access to end-users to map out their workflows, identify pain points, and propose solutions to drive productivity and intelligence in their daily work.

What you need is:


  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technology/ Business-related fields
  • 5+ years relevant work experience as IT Business Analyst
  • Sales and Marketing related IT background with experience in Salesforce CRM and Salesforce CRM Analytics; exposure in SAP ERP is a plus
  • Experienced in understanding end-to-end business processes, designing scalable digital solutions, coordinating with stakeholders, and working with development team in an Agile Scrum setup
  • Experienced in planning and coordinating solution rollouts/ go-lives, release roadmaps, as well as driving change management and user enablement in a structured manner
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving orientation; leadership and project management experience preferable
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team player approach with the ability to connect with global partners to bond, inspire, influence and accomplish goals
  • Have worked in an international environment
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
