What's the role?

We are looking for Area Sales Manager - Offshore who can lead the sales team to provide solutions that meet the needs of customers in the Offshore, Oil and Gas and shipbuilding segment and serve them properly through the multichannel system.

What does the role involve?

As an Area Sales Manager you will develop our clients and find the ways in which we can ease their operations and give them support with our innovative solutions. You will find yourself in different contexts, jobsites, companies, or offices and yards.
Your main tasks will be to cultivate and build relationship within your team and with curious and enthusiastic clients:

  • Leadership of the commercial team: applies coaching and situational leadership foundation focused on the commercial and human development of the team.
  • Strategic management of the team: identification of commercial indicators, management of customer needs; identification, development and implementation of commercial action plans.
  • Obtains results through development, follow up of sales targets and contribution margin.
  • Commercial development of key customers at the level of follow-up and/or support with team members.
  • Multilevel interaction and communication internally and externally.

What you need is:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, marketing or related field
  • Experience in consultive sales processes with premium products
  • At least 3 years’ experience managing sales teams in a consultive environment or complex industries or project management
  • Experience in Oil and Gas Offshore/Shipbuilding/ Hydrogen/ CCUS segment is a plus
  • Ability to build multi-level relationships with customers and key decision makers
  • Excellent Team-leadership. Ability to coach/develop others
  • Fluent in Italian and English
