Area Sales Manager

We are seeking a proactive leader, adept at navigating challenges, to join our direct sales team.

What are the responsibilities associated with this role?

  • Defines and implements sales plans (KPIs);
  • Manages a team of Territory Sales Representatives;
  • Recruits, trains, develops, evaluates, and motivates the sales team;
  • Ensures high standards of service and enhances the positive image of our brand;
  • Develops and manages key clients and projects in the region;
  • Supports the sale of Hilti products and services in the region;
  • Collaborates closely with local support functions (marketing, finance, credit, logistics, repair).

  • Successful completion of university studies (Master's, Bachelor’s, or equivalent);
  • Proven track record in commercial and client-driven roles, with a minimum of 3-5 years of (inter)national sales experience, guided by specific KPIs;
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with several years of team management;
  • Fluency in English at the B2/C1 level is a requirement;
  • Strong ability to analyze and address customer needs with a solution-oriented approach;
  • Proficient in managing long-term sales projects and fostering enduring client relationships;
  • Flexible to travel as needed;
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word) and familiarity with CRM systems;
  • Possess business acumen, coupled with a commercial mindset and a dedication to client satisfaction and achieving results.
