Strategic Business Developer Chemicals (m/w/d) -100% Remote Germany

What's the role?

As Strategic Business Developer (m/f/d) for our Hilti product portfolio, you will use your sales experience to support international customers in the chemical industry in Germany. You will be able to use your experience in strategic customer development, sales development (direct or indirect) and cross-hierarchical relationship management and therefore develop global key accounts with the aim of increasing Hilti's market share.

What does the role involve?

  • Global customer development as well as targeted project tracking on application level
  • Develop a sustainable sales strategy for assigned customers and lead global implementation through Hilti Counterparts worldwide
  • Recognise and respond to the needs of various stakeholders in the course of customer development
  • Focus on expanding an international project pipeline, independent of project and sales locations
  • Strong focus on the disciplines ‘Piping, Electrical & Instrumentation, Firestop’ and in general secondary steel constructions
  • Establishment of Hilti as an international project partner in the petrochemical industry
  • Provide current market intelligence to the global teams to confirm and/or update segment strategies
  • Identify, understand and deliver a high level system selling value proposition
  • Selling solutions and products
  • Continuous communication at senior management level

What you need is:

  • Successfully completed technical or business studies
  • Several years of professional experience in a multicultural environment or abroad
  • Ideally technical expertise and existing networks in the chemical industry
  • Sound knowledge of B2B sales and business development
  • Communication skills with negotiation skills
  • Experience in project management to manage the complexity of system sales across multiple locations, functions and customers
  • High degree of independence and personal responsibility as well as entrepreneurial thinking and behaviour
  • Affinity for technical products, services and software solutions
  • Experience in senior relationship management to be able to speak competently and confidently with customers at senior and C-level
  • Enjoy networking (internally and externally)
  • Sustainable and strategic thinking
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English language skills
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
  • Car driving licence
