What's the role?
As a Global Product Manager, you will be responsible for creating the vision of our next iconic wood nailing solution, writing the next page of our innovation story in the making. You will define the products' vision and own the roadmap together with your technical counterparts. You will work closely with our development team, with customers, with our sales organisation and with external business partners.

What does the role involve?
You will have ownership of a portfolio of tools & consumables within our global marketing team in our Headquarters. You will define and develop the strategy and roadmap to address construction worker’s pain points when fastenings productively to wood. You will continuously work with customers, with our marketing and sales colleagues around the world, and with our research and development teams. Your work will vary a lot, from the analysis of customer’s needs to shape the vision of a new product with its attached business case, to building up a marketing strategy in preparation of a product launch but also teaming up with our marketing colleagues in the sales organizations to drive sales of our existing portfolio. You will be visiting jobsites and customers around the world, be the first to try and demonstrate new prototypes of our nailing tools and sit in front of the management to convince them of your strategic choices. You will be part of the product management team of business unit Direct Fastening, under the leadership of a senior segment marketing manager.
Direct Fastening is the most innovative Business Unit at Hilti, which gave birth to its unrivalled direct sales business model in the 1950’. What you need is:
- A Master’s degree in Engineering, marketing or business. An MBA from a leading business school is a plus.
- Proven experience of at least 5 years in the construction industry, and more precisely in the wood nailing applications, ideally in a product marketing role.
- Proven ability to analyse complex business problems, extract the essence in wide data sets and craft implementable solutions.
- Strong interpersonal skills to successfully perform in a global matrix environment and a team player.
- You are a great communicator, good at telling stories to audiences and to build bridges with stakeholders, including top management levels.
- Fluency in spoken and written English. Additional languages highly valued.
