What's the role?
It’s an incredibly exciting time to join the Hilti Digital Platforms team! We are redesigning the future of digital at Hilti and are looking for new team members to play an integral part in our transformation journey. As a Senior Quality Assurance Software Engineer in Test, you will work in a global, multicultural, collaborative, fun, and agile work environment. You will develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality.

What does the role involve?
As a QA Engineer in Test, you design and implement tests, debug and define corrective actions, review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts). You work closely with the developers and product owner to find gaps in the business logic and ensure that the software is creating value for the customer. You create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases, develop manual test cases to increase regression coverage as well as new functionality testing, and execute manual and automated test cases including ad-hoc and exploratory testing as needed. Ultimately, you monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.
The Strategic Marketing team, at our two locations in Boulogne-Billancourt, France and Texas, USA, consists of 130+ team members in 11+ scrum teams working with the newest technologies to create a unique user experience for Hilti’s extraordinary products and services.

What you need is:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, required
- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in software quality assurance
- Strong skills in test automation using selenium webdriver with Java
- Advanced skills in Java, POO and Git
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Experience with BDD test design and writing test cases with Gherkin syntax
- Experience with CI/CD tools
- SAP and Hybris knowledge a plus
- Experience with Atlassian development tools, i.e. Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, Bamboo
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal & written)
