What's the role?

The Hilti Foundation aims to build a better future by empowering people and communities to lead independent and self-determined lives. As an intern, you will actively contribute to our purpose-driven team by working on projects and assisting with the development and implementation of various aspects of our impact management strategy.

Start date between January and March 2026, duration for minimum 6 months.

What You'll do

As an intern, you will join the Impact Management Team of the Hilti Foundation. The internship will be tailored to your academic and professional background, giving you the opportunity to take ownership of meaningful projects that advance our mission:

If you study finance, economics, or data analytics, your key project will contribute to developing our social return on investment (SROI) strategy, helping measure and strengthen the impact of our programs.

If your background is in marketing, communications, or business administration, you will support initiatives around our corporate volunteering program, “Engaged Beyond Business,” enhancing employee engagement through impactful international projects.

You’ll work closely with Foundation colleagues and partners in a dynamic, purpose-driven environment — managing your own projects, coordinating with stakeholders, and driving improvements that create sustainable and scalable impact worldwide.

What You’ll Bring

  • Enrollment in a relevant Bachelor/Master’s program for the entire internship period
  • Interest in topics related to social innovation, empowerment, and inclusive growth
  • Great communication and project management skills
  • Independent and well-structured work style
  • Good communication skills in English
